• Undergraduate internships and work experience

SVI internships bring together undergraduates eager to get their hands dirty in a working lab, with skilled and enthusiastic researchers at the top of their game and focused on transforming health. Our internships are designed to help you develop the skills, experience and knowledge you need to take the next step in your career.

SVI student internships take place during the summer and midterm breaks.  Summer internships occur during December and January for a total of six weeks on a full-time basis with a stipend award of $1,500.  Midterm internships are based on the student’s course schedule with a weekly full-time stipend award of $250/week.

Prospective students should contact Laboratory Heads to discuss potential projects and the availability of an internship in their lab.  A link to laboratories and their projects can be found here.
